I saw a Dodge Aries the other day on the road and was instantly reminded that my mom's first car after she immigrated to the U.S. was a Chrysler Reliant wagon. She hated the damn thing and ended up selling it for something like a grand in back in the mid-90s.
Well, now I want one. Where can I find one of these in pretty good condition? It seems that the majority of the production line as been crushed over years of genocide. Anyone own one? How do they drive? I want to know!

It's a K car, driving prowess wasn't exactly their thing. My mom had a Daytona, which derives from the K car platform. That thing's body was literally coming apart at the welds after a year of ownership. I'm sure 90% of K cars have rusted to bits or been crushed.

A K Car in "pretty good condition" might just be the ultimate unicorn.

This is the cause for my weird K car fetish at the moment.

Even the Old Folks have probably moved on, and sold their cars to Crack dealers by now.

My folks had a Horizon, and it held up fairly well in spite of the abuse thrown at it.

Maybe some did, but I always remember my mom saying that her car had to be sent back to Dodge to have the body re-welded together because the quality was so poor from the factory.
HFV has no HFV. But somehow has 2 motorcycles
